TUNISIA - New Medical Schools to be Established

New medical schools will be established in Tunisia, in the areas of Kef, Sidi Bouzid and Medenine. This was decided by a ministerial council, which has also decided to establish a school of pharmacy in Jendouba, one in Dentistry in Kasserine, and one in Gabes for the training of cadres in the field of hospital management.
 

These decisions, according to a government statement released by Tap, ''will help to promote the quality of health care services in the country.''

 

The ministerial council has also decided to set up a television channel specializing in raising awareness about health issues.
