BRUSSELS - EUNIC Lebanon launches call for cultural projects

Destined to artists under 35 who live in the country

The EUNIC has created a fund to encourage and support young artists in the field of visual arts in Lebanon. This fund aims to help and develop all types of visual art projects such as photography, painting, and drawing. It aims to support local artistic creations by providing a limited funding, with no specific theme.

The call is aimed at post-graduated artists, aged less than 35, who live and work in Lebanon. Applicants need to fill in an application form and send their calls for projects on a project template by 28 February, 2014. The results will be announced by the end of March 2014. EUNIC is the network of European Union National Institutes for Culture. Formed in 2006, it is recognized as a leader in cultural cooperation. The EUNIC cluster in Lebanon was created in 2011 to promote European values and cultural exchanges between European Union and Lebanon. EUNIC wants to expand the role of culture in Europe and to strengthen cultural dialogue and sustainable cooperation worldwide.
