Cartooning for Peace in Tunisia

What is the role of cartoonists in the political situation in Maghreb and Africa? Cartoonists will speak about their experiences and their work as artists and journalists.


The discussion and debate will be an opportunity to present cartoonists works : they all are  promoting freedom of speech and a better understanding and mutual respect between people of different cultures and beliefs using editorial cartoons as a universal language. During their stay in Tunis, Plantu and cartoonists will also meet the Tunis Institute of Fine Arts student  (Issbat), on Monday October, 28 from 9.30am to 12pm and  the Institute of Press and Information Sciences students ( IPSI ) on Tuesday, October, 29 , from 10am to 12.30pm.
