AFRICA - The first female mayer of Liberville

For the first time in the history Liberville, the capital of Gabon in Africa has got a female mayer.  Christiane Rose Ossoucah Raponda, candidate of the Democratic  Party has been elected by unanimos vote of the 103 counsilers.


Liberville, is the political and administrative capital and the chief town of Estuaire province, with 800 thousand inhabitants. It's the most populated  city  of the ex French colony situated on the Athlantic Ocean.The newly elected mayer's  goal is to retrain the chief town of Estuaire and to give Liberville a brand new image.


Some of the 23 projects and 93 actions to clear up the capital are:


-the biggest issue in Libreville is trash collection, and fight against  anarchic urbanization


-resolving  the lack of access to water and electricity and also lackof transportation in someneighborhoods


-finding a remedy to the lack of municipal cemetery
